In 2012 the Public Health Commission of our country´s Senators Camera declared the14th of April the National Day of Patient´s Safety aiming at its celebration allowing the population to know about existing measures in best practices regarding patient´s safety at health institutions. The British Hospital works intensively on patient´s safety as a sublimated concept of the quality of care. Looking forward to this idea, the Patient´s Safety Committee composed by representatives of the medical, nursing and administrative Hospital field, celebrated the of Patient´s Safety National Day with an extensive planning of the activities to raise awareness of the six International ´s Patient Safety Goals driven by the World Health Organization, as well as by six issues of interest and institutional development related to Patient´s Safety. In this context, apart from the incidental talks in different areas of the organization which are in charge of members of COSEPA, the Hospital offered two open talks to all members of the staff in charge of the Institute of Health and Clinical Effectiveness of Buenos Aires, IECS .
