The 15th of April took place the first culinary workshop for parents who are Hospital members. The aim of the activity is to educate in nutritionals aspects and to promote practices that help generating healthy habits in benefit of health and family wellbeing. The team in charge offers an interdisciplinary approach to the subject allowing providing quality information. Trough the development of practical and easy recipes the participants experienced that it is possible to make “healthy lunch bags” and enjoy a delicious and nutritious homemade food even outside our homes, demystifying the fact that home cooking is complex and its long processing time. Consequently, “Gourmet Lunch Bags” proposes an exchange space where as well as learning about quantity, quality and combinations, the participants feel comfortable raising concerns about issues related to food preservation, thawed and food hygiene.
