At the Spanish Coloproctology Congress, the Coloproctology Unit of the British Hospital, represented by Dr. Patrick Lyford-Pike, he received special recognition from the Spanish Coloproctology Association by Prof. Dr. Fernando De la Portilla (Es) for being the first Unit on the continent to receive certification from its Accreditation Program for Coloproctology Units, which is based on compliance with a system of competencies and good practices, recognizing its excellence as well as encouraging it to remain in a cycle of continuous improvement.
