The British Hospital was accredited by the National Child Health Plan with good practices of infant and young child feeding. Regarding this, the Hospital underwent a process of a year's work in the Best Practices Committee comprised Power Drs. Carolina Forteza, Joyce Stewart and Nancy Murillo, together with Ms. Cecilia Richetto and Dr. Yelena Ramirez. The paper is focused on the measurement of certain key indicators including: -training courses for staff, -compliance with the International Code of breastmilk substitutes, -donor mothers, -percentage of children who live pechho feed exclusively for the first six -months. Meeting these objectives led us to obtain such accreditation.
