Last Monday we were honored by the visit of a delegation of authorities of the Buenos Aires British Hospital. It was chaired by Mr. Cedric Bridger (Vice President), Dr. Angel Yebara (CEO), Mr. Sebastian Dates (Institutional Relations Director) and Ms. Mari Chamba (Chief Nursing Officer). The visit aimed to strengthen the link between the two institutions, generate scientific and management exchanges and to know our current national and organizational reality. Interest arises from a synergy between the two organizations sharing many things in common, despite the different countries. The tight schedule allowed the visit to some areas of the Hospital: doctors' offices, some outpatient services, the fourth floor rooms, the birthing rooms, the Surgical Block, the Emergency Service and the Day Care Centre. Throughout the tour, we were conveying their appreciation for the different areas, the technology, and fundamentally for the friendly staff and the warmth with which they were received. Their words in note of thanks were: "We want to make a special mention to the staff who kindly accompanied us throughout the visit, and to the staff that were in their workstations that greeted us with distinctive warmth, reflecting the commitment of its people to the institution." It is an honor for our hospital to be visited and to receive these qualifications that full us with pride. This visit will be the first of an exchange that will complement each other from the academic point of view, experiences, management and training set.
