From the 24th to the 26th of July were held The Fourth National Neonatology Congress, The First Neonatal Nursing Congress and The First Rioplatenese Surgery Congress. The event was organized by the Uruguayan Neonatology Society and by the Pediatric Intensive Care (SUNPI) which took place in the Latu (Uruguayan Technological Laboratory). In the exchange which was held between national and foreign experts, the Nursing Staff of the Neonatal Unit of the British Hospital presented two Research Developed within the Neonatal Intensive Care area. They were entitled: “Prevalence and complications of late-terms in the Neonatal Unit of British Hospital” that was in charge of the Licensed Nurses Paula Dabin, Silvana Ortiz and Rosiney Cornia; and “Attention Nursing Process in the Neonatal Unit of British Hospital”, in charge of the Licensed Nurses Susana Badón, Leticia Costa and Cecilia Rodriguez, which honored its authors with the First Awarded Prize in the category “Free Works”.
