The main objective of the Digital Medical Records is to ensure the continuity medical asistance of the user in the National Integrated Health System (SNIS).
It implies that the medical records of each user is available to the health team who provides assistance to the user not only in any part of the country but also in any health service provider. Health personnel are enabled to access to the digital medical records in the following situations:
• during a clinical consultation or user assistance event,
• in the event of an emergency or sanitary emergency of the user.
Each user of the health system may choose whether to allow their Medical Records to be visible in these cases or not.
