The main objective of the Digital Medical Records is to ensure continue medical assistance to the user from the National Integrated Health System (SNIS).
It implies that the medical record of each user is available to the health team providing assistance to the user in any part of the country and in any health service provider. Health personnel are enabled to access digital medical records in the following situations:
• during a clinical consultation or any other medical assistance,
• in the event of a sanitary emergency or urgency.
Each user of the health system may choose whether to allow their Medical Records to be visible in these cases or not.
