The British hospital lights up in pink to raise awareness of breast cancer

In the framework of the month of awareness on breast cancer, which is celebrated around the world every October, the British Hospital will illuminate every night the facade on Italy Avenue in pink of its historic building,

The initiative, which will last for a week, aims to bring visibility to the most frequent oncological disease in Uruguay, drawing the attention of those who pass through a city hotspot.

The lighting intervention of the old building joins to a series of activities focused on the prevention and timely detection of breast cancer that the British Hospital will carry out until the end of October.
