The British Hospital carries out an educational leading program

Due to members concerns, until August the British Hospital will carry out series of educational activities related to first aid in children and adults, drugs and alcohol prevention and children verbal communication, among other topics of interest to the families. The British Hospital systematically updates the issues of interest to its members, as part of its ongoing policy of health education and prevention. The results are consistent regarding the positive of these initiatives at a family level, where parents and children take part in, and for the contribution of learning to everyday life. As a consequence of this, hospital members raise a number of concerns related mainly with children and adolescents that will motivate several specific activities. On the22nd of July and the 12th of August, a workshop will be held on "First aid and children reanimation” by SUATE Medical Emergency. On the 23th of June, Dr. Teresita Sabat and Dr.Gabriel Rossi, will lead an activity on "Addictions. Prevention and Early Detection. Drugs and Alcohol”, with emphasis on the teenage population. On the 24th, 15th and 19th of July there will be a workshop on "First aid and adult`s reanimation" lead by the Prevention and Education Centre in Emergencies (CEPRIE). “Children verbal communication. Development, genes or environment. Stuttering, tics” will be the workshop subject by Professor Dr. Gabriel González, to be held on the next 5th of August. Meanwhile on the 7th of September Dr. Daniela Armas is going to talk about “Myths and facts of reflux in infants ". Knowing about our members concerns and their needs is essential for us. Topics related to children and adolescents are required by families and in this sense we aim to provide knowledge and specific tools for each subject, "said Graduate.
