Due to the active collaboration and commitment of its employees, members and collaborators, the British Hospital supported with equipment to the new educational room located on the fifth floor of the Hospital Pereira Rossell, aimed to children who are hospitalized there and their families, an initiative led by Ronald McDonald House.
More than a hundred of children’s books, almost a hundred didactic games, of different types and for all ages, and a large variation of school supplies, formed the bulk of the contribution of the British Hospital to the Ronald House.
The new educational room of the Ronald McDonald House is located on the fifth floor of the Hospital Pereira Rossell and is a space of rest, learning and communication for the hospitalized children and their families.
Conceived in response to a social and educational need, it provides containment, commodities and a meeting place for the families, focusing the attention on the children who have a space of games, recreation and a class room for formal and informal learning specially designed for them. More than enough reasons for the British Hospital, its employees, members and users, to collaborate during several days on the recollection of the donated materials.
